| It's critical that we maintain our focus on the objective
of the fasts: support for and passage of the EIA.
Who, really doesn't matter. In the end it is not the fact of
a fast or any facts about them: length, terms, number of participants. What
matters is that we, as Americans, rise to the needs of our nation and future, put a plug
in our dependence on Middle East petroleum and go on the oil import diet that the EIA provides
and of which fasting is an entirely apropos metaphor.
That
all said, the "founding faster" is Daniel Wood, a lecturer in the
business college at Arizona State University. His professional
page with bona fides can be found at wpcarey.asu.edu
in the faculty directory. ASU does
not support, endorse,
oppose or have any position on this
campaign or organization. Daniel invites anyone and everyone who
cares about energy independence who believes that perpetuation of the
petroleum supply chain is not sufficient
casus belli to engage in
multi-generational war, to join and
write Congress,
sign the petition,
plan for future
campaigns and fasts and become a founding member
of the USA Future Foundation. |
